The Continental Mark II is a personal luxury car that was produced by the newly created Continental Divisionof the Ford Motor Company, in 1956 and 1957. Only 444 were built in 1957 but very few with A/C. An attempt to build a post-World War II car to rival the greatest of the pre-War era, or anything produced in Europe, it is regarded as a rare and elegant classic. This fully restored Mark II was ordered with A/C and two tone paint. The Mark II sold for $10,400,the equivalent of a new Rolls-Royce or two Cadillacs. This car drives elegantly with no unusual noises at all. What a statement to pull up and know most have never seen one of these before. The list of celebrity owners is very long and impressive. Walter Brennan, Les Brown, Cecil B. DeMille, Harvey S. Firestone, Jr., Mrs. J. Paul Getty, Dwight Eisenhower, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Liz Taylor just to name a few. This is a very rare chance to own one of these very rare cars.
